Celebrated as one of the best cruise ships in the South Pacific, the m/s Paul Gauguin has made further enhancements in 2010 in an effort to continuously improve guests' experience, including the addition of the new Deep Nature Spa, which was unveiled on the President's Cruise on January 6, 2010. The Deep Nature Spa utilizes the benefits of deep-sea water in all of its signature treatments. Signature treatments include:
Polynesian Treat by Hei Poa: Traditional full-body, sensual Polynesian massage inspired by old Tahitian massage techniques with Hei Poa Mono• and tropical scents.
Bora Bora Deep Blue Massage: Uses the benefits of deep-sea water products created specially by Algotherm, and includes a moisturizing oil effleurage followed by a relaxing massage.
Tahitian Wave: Inspired by the relaxing movement of the Ocean, this treatment combines a subtle Tahitian sand scrub followed by a full body massage, soothing the muscles and realigning energy flow for a complete bliss.
Additionally, the m/s Paul Gauguin received a multimillion-dollar enhancement in 2009 to provide updated and more spacious accommodations highlighting the ship's unique Euro-Polynesian flair. The upgrades include converting 26 oceanview staterooms to balcony staterooms - increasing the number of suites and staterooms featuring private balconies to nearly 70 percent of the ship. Le Grill casual poolside dining experience also has been significantly upgraded, and La Veranda restaurant's al fresco dining space has been expanded. The Internet and Fitness Centers have been improved, watersports activities have been enhanced with new sport boats, and all public areas have been extensively refurbished to reflect the luxurious standard that is characteristic of Paul Gauguin Cruises. |
